The Oak Park Handy Human

The Oak Park Handy Human is a high-quality local handyman service that can do just about any repair or improvement needed for the older homes in its area. Business is great, but their website was underperforming. They had built their original website on Wordpress 2 years ago, but quickly found that they wanted a platform that was easier to update, offered high quality design and features - and didn’t cost so much - turns out, most of the Wordpress add-ons needed to customize a site are priced separately, and all those expenses can add up. Wordpress also requires a good deal of manual checking to ensure customized widgets get updated, or you’ll find your site riddled with error pages.
Squarespace was the obvious answer. Handy Human needed a high-quality custom design that was easy to update. They offer a lot of services, and pictures of their repairs to old woodwork or installations of new lighting tell the story - so I created galleries with slide shows of their services for site visitors to get a visual confirmation of the great work they do.
