Website Design

Good website design starts with a plan based on the function and aesthetic of the business. Colors, fonts, copy and images communicate your brand and your story: what you offer, the services you provide, and most importantly: your unique value.

Keeping the audience engaged is most important, so user experience is essential: the layout should be simple; navigation should be intuitive and logical; copy and images should be clear and easy to understand. Technology should be invisible in the front end and easy on the back end.

Here is what’s included in the sites I design

  1. Site Architecture, Navigation

    • General site layout and structure

    • Page build-out

  2. Graphic Design and Layout

    • Colors, Typography - existing or new

    • Logo - existing or a new simple typographic logotype

    • Home page layout; secondary page layouts

  3. Content

    • Content prompts (I’ll provide guides to help you develop copy and images)

    • Google Drive folders for sharing content (I’ll create and organize)

    • Copy (You provide copy, I’ll add it to the site. Copywriting services available optionally)

    • Images (You provide, or I select stock photos)

  4. Domain name registration and hosting (if needed)

  5. Integration with other systems (optional; could include Accuity for scheduling; Google Workspace, Open Menu, etc.)

  6. Training - I’ll provide a custom PDF guide, links to relevant Squarespace content, and a Zoom training session for your new site.

  7. Revisions - Based on your feedback, I’ll make up to 2 rounds of minor changes before launch.

  8. Launch! Once you approve and are ready, I’ll push your site live. You celebrate!

  9. Post-launch - I’ll be available for email questions as you enjoy your new site.
